The radial telescopic stacking conveyor, also named telestacker, may be one of the most cost efficient and effective machines in bulk materials stockpiling. These telestacker conveyors feature variable height, length and axis position, allowing for layered stacking structures, which is key to achieving partial and complete separation of stacks. This telestacker typically consists of several key components.
1. Telescopic Lattice Steel Boom
The main feature of a telescopic stacking conveyor is its telescopic lattice steel frame structure, which can extend and retract to reach different heights and distances. This radial telescopic boom is extendable and retracted using telescopic winch system or rack system. It is often made of these steels.
- square steel tubes,
- section steel (Angle Steel, Channel Steel).

2. Common Rubber Conveyor Belts
The belt width of this telestacker conveyor is selected according to conveying capacity and conveyed bulk materials. The heavy duty conveyor belt width is available in 900mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1500mm, 1600mm and 1800mm. They can be equipped with these conveyor belts.
- smooth rubber belt,
- patterned rubber belt (for grain and wood chips).
3. Telestacker Conveyor Drive System
Telestackers are equipped with a drive system that powers the movement of the whole machine and driving conveyor belts. This drive system may include these parts.
- electric motors,
- hydraulic systems,
- or a combination of both,
- generator sets.
The selection will depend on the design and specifications of the telestacker.
4. High Automatic Control System
Modern radial telescopic stacker conveyors feature advanced control systems that allow operators to monitor and adjust various parameters, such as:
- boom conveyor extension/retraction,
- conveyor speed,
- stacking height.

These control systems may be operated manually or through automated processes, enhancing efficiency and safety. Both panel control and remote control are possible.
5. Heavy Duty Steel Undercarriage
This radial telescopic stacking conveyor is mounted on a stable support structure, which may include a chassis, base frame, platform, or radial undercarriage. This structure provides stability and support for the telescopic boom and conveyor system during operation.
6. Flexible Mobility Components
Some telestacker models are equipped with mobility components, such as:
- 1. radial plinth,
- 2. wheeled dolly unit,
- 3. tracks unit,
- 4. all wheel travel unit.
Common Moving Units of Radial Telescopic Stacker
These allow for easy movement and transportation within a site or between different locations. This mobility enhances the versatility and flexibility of the Telestacker for various applications.
7. Multiple Types of Safety Features
Our radial telescopic stacker conveyor are typically equipped with safety features to protect operators and prevent accidents during operation to ensure safe and efficient material handling. These may include:
- emergency stop buttons,
- safety guards,
- proximity sensors,
- warning signs,
- and any more.
8. Telestacker Conveyor Transportation
Transportations of Radial Telestacker Conveyor
Containers can be used for transportation if the telestacker conveyor can be disassembled and placed into 40ft containers. When the model is dismantled and still cannot be placed in 40ft containers, it can be transported by a bulk carrier. Our equipment is designed with subsequent transportation methods in mind.
